  ActionSurface allows you to easily create action games based on the spritesurface class. You define platforms, walls, enemies, the character, his gun, etc, and ActionSurface takes care of the rest.

  Also, creating levels is a breeze with the new levelmaker project. Since it's a sprite program, I can't put up a screenshot, but I can tell you that you really should download it.
